The protocol was signed in the city of Castelo Branco, Portugal, during a visit that the Mayor of Brava has been making to this European country.

This protocol highlights the continuity of joint actions, including a mission to Ilha Brava scheduled for this year. The team will carry out training in basic life support, promote cultural activities and offer social support to the local community.

One of the points highlighted in the protocol is the active participation of Associação Mais Lusofonia as one of the main partners in the implementation of the municipal program "EACH HOUSE A BATHROOM". The initiative aims to ensure that all residences on Brava Island have access to adequate sanitary facilities, contributing to improving the living conditions of Brava families.

For Francisco Tavares, mayor of Brava, the signed commitment demonstrates the joint commitment of CMB and Associação Mais Lusofonia to promoting the well-being of the local community and strengthening bonds of solidarity. Both parties are excited about the prospects for continued collaboration and positive impact on Brava Island in the years ahead.
